This celebration draws attention to the ITU related activities in Japan and to the Declaration of Principles\/Plan of Action of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). During the celebration ITU-AJ will be presenting the \u201cAccomplishment Awards\u201d and the \u201cEncouragement Awards\u201d to those who have made significant contributions in the international standardization and cooperation activities.<\/p>\n
